As we look forward to the return of our plucky Year 2s next week, take a look at all they have been learning throughout this week. Maths has been a riot of cascading fractions! Topic culminated in the creation of death masks and researching facts about the life of the boy King, Tutankhamun. An abundance of poems inspired by World Ocean Day have meandered their way through the web for all to enjoy. There have been Lego models constructed without instructions and a hilarious chapter read from Roald Dahl’s James and the Giant Peach, rockets have been soaring from foot pumps and music and French have rounded off another exciting week for the Year 2 children.
Parents, ‘thank you all’, only three more sleeps until Monday morning! We relish the thought of being together once more. Mrs Miles
