On December 2nd, Year 8 will perform The Rocky Monster Show by Malcom Sircom.
Bizarre, anarchic and very funny, this Rock ‘n’ Roll musical is a riotous mix of the Addams Family, Young Frankenstein and Phantom of the Opera, with Rebecca and The Rocky Horror Show thrown in for good measure!
Baron Frankenstein’s descendant, and ex-pop star turned professor of Genetics, creates DNA moulds of people in his computer. How these moulds come to life as the ultimate Rock Group, headed by a clone of Elvis himself is the highlight of the hilarious plot.
I am so excited to be working with this very talented year group on this wonderful musical along with our Musical Director Mr Frazer. With a haunted castle and monsters appearing around every corner , this humorous show promises to be another slick and professional production so if you missed Les Misérables in 2017 or The Lion the Witch and Wardrobe in 2018 or Honk in 2020, why not come along and see what the oldest children at Barrow Hills do?
Due to the restrictions of recent years it has been a while since we have been able to open our door to an audience but I am delighted to say that all are welcome to come and watch The Rocky Monster Show on December 2nd at 7pm – with the first few rows reserved for the proud Year 8 parents of course!
