Year 1 has had an exciting week! The children have been learning about Victorian toys and have really impressed me with their enthusiasm and prior knowledge.
They have sent in wonderful drawings of Victorians at the beach and I have created a wall display in the classroom with their work.
The theme for ‘Dress Up Tuesday’ was bright colours and it was a huge success. We had all sorts of outfits and Mr Oldroyd joined in the fun wearing a bright green wig!
A huge round of applause for all the Year 1 children for their fabulous work this week. Thank you also to all the parents for supporting their children with their learning and activities.
