On Monday 9th May, Barrow Hills hosted our annual athletics pentathlon against the following schools: Aldro, Belmont, St Edmund’s, Edgeborough, Pennthorpe, King Edward’s Witley.
Children from Years 3-8 competed in the following five events: 800m, 150m, long jump, ball throw and 70m hurdles. There were 30 athletes in each age group and scores were accumulated over the five events to work out who came 1st, 2nd, 3rd overall.

U9 Boys – George (4G) 2nd
U9 Girls – Phoebe (4R) 3rd, Beatrice (4R) 2nd, Laura (4R) 1st
U11 Girls – Cleo (6G) 1st
U13 Boys – Conrad (8G) 1st

Barrow Hills won overall as a school for the third year in a row – well done to all who competed!
