What a splendiferous evening, it rained before and after but during, hardly a drop.
From afar, the bonfire seemed to take well (a bit too well at one point!) and the firework display was as impressive as ever.
A BIG thank you to the parent helpers, who all turned up on time and without whom, serving 450 persons could have been interesting to say the least!
It was lovely to see and hear so many children, light sabres at the ready, running around the playing fields.
This fantastic event raised just under £1,000. Hopefully you all enjoyed the evening also, certainly made a dent in the mulled wine department!
Lastly, thank you to Rachel, our Operations Manager, who oversaw the whole event and was there helping until the bitter end.
