It’s all been a bit fishy in BHKindy@Home this week, as the children have explored the story of ‘The Rainbow Fish’ and how we can all be kinder to each other. The children have tackled fish addition, made fish masks to retell the story, practised their pencil control by drawing around different shapes, made story stones and learned a sharing scales song. The sound of the week was ‘y’ yak, our number focus was 6 and we recapped the days of the week.
Year 8 sports captains, Tilly and James, set challenges in PE with Mrs Burnett and Madame Early treated the children to ‘tête épaules genoux et pieds’ en Français naturellement! The week was rounded off with some Victory in Europe Day celebrations. Phew! Keep up the super work Kindy!
