It may have been a little different this year, but Barrow Hills celebrated bonfire night in style as always! Pre-Prep enjoyed hot chocolate and sweet treats by the fire in Forest School and created firework decorations using conkers and large, brightly coloured sycamore leaves.
Prep children gathered in their bubbles for their warming drink and s’mores before making their way to the field. As darkness fell, the bubbles were easily identifiable by their different coloured glow bands and there was plenty of space to enjoy themselves in their designated areas, carefully marked out with bunting. The children cheered as Mr Mullins and Mr Withers lit the bonfire, their enthusiasm was infectious and life definitely felt more ‘normal’.
Thank you to the BHCC for the bonfire build and the glow bands, to the maintenance team for all their hard work and all those in the kitchen for the delicious hot chocolate and treats.
