Last Friday was Christmas Workshop day. Form by form, every class in the school from Nursery to Year 8 painted a clay star. Once painted, the stars were dried and are now being fired before being returned to school as beautiful Christmas decorations. There were some stunning designs and we cannot wait to see the finished articles. The stars will be named, wrapped and delivered via your children soon.
When the children had finished painting their works of art there was time for Christmas crafting to decorate the refectory. The younger children made wreaths from paper plates and some lovely paper snowflakes. Whilst the older children concentrated on making miles of festive paper chains. The refectory is now resplendent in all its Christmas glory.
A massive thank you to Mrs Trounce and her army of BHCC helpers who supervised the children in their endeavours and organised the day so it ran like clockwork.
