On Wednesday, as part of our excellent safeguarding provision, we welcomed Mr Jonathan Taylor who gave three fantastic age appropriate presentations to Junior, Middle and Upper Prep about e-safety. King Edward’s Year 7 children also made the short journey and joined us for one of the sessions.
Jonathan covered a vast amount in his various sessions. He explained the risks of online gaming and the importance of making right choices, including the value of not having too much screen time. He explained the dangers of social media, how people can bully online and that they must appreciate the risks and consequences of sharing personal and inappropriate information on the internet. He also spoke about how to create a positive Online Digital Tattoo.
Jonathan certainly taught us some valuable lessons and left us with some good food for thought, ensuring that we are all safer when online.
