Pre-Prep children were very excited to welcome some very special visitors this week. Mr Hatcher very kindly arranged that he and his colleagues would bring the fire engine to Barrow Hills. The children were allowed to climb inside and try on the fire helmets. He showed the children how to breathe through special masks and talked about the protective clothes firefighters have to wear. Mr Hatcher also showed them how the hose worked; the changes in water pressure and the height and distance it could go.
It was a very exciting morning and we would like to thank Mr Hatcher and the team for visiting Barrow Hills.
