On Thursday, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 all went to the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre to watch the pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk…
“Oh no we didn’t, oh yes we did!”
The excitement begin with the arrival of the large coach; for some children it was their first journey on one. Once we arrived at the theatre we could not wait to take our seats. The show began and we had 52 children in awe of what was happening in the stage.
All the children thoroughly enjoyed taking part, shouting out to Jack so he knew where the giant was. A particular favourite was the bubbles and water pistols getting the children.
We had a fantastic time and cannot wait to return next year, making this an annual pantomime trip!
