Judging by the Green Commendations awarded this week. the children are still working extremely hard in the run up to the end of term. Congratulations to the following children, who received Green Commendations:
Alec (2G) for ‘an amazing story written with care and diligence’;
Kiera (1G) for ‘being absolutely fantastic – always smiling, working hard, being kind whilst showing responsibility’;
Harry (4R) for ‘fantastic participation in Google Meet and super distance learning tasks completed since joining Barrow Hills’;
James (3G) for ‘amazing focus and commitment to improving his handwriting’;
Emilia (3R) for ‘creating amazing descriptive sentences using a wide range of punctuation and vocabulary’ and ‘for a fantastic European information booklet on a made up country’;
Alexander (3R) for ‘fantastic improvement in his focus and approach to learning, especially in his literacy lessons’ and for ‘amazing effort in geography’;
Eliza (3G) for ‘making up her own European country and the creation of a fantastic tourist booklet on it’;
Noah (3G) for ‘fantastic effort in geography throughout the distance learning programme’;
Suzie (3G) for ‘beautifully written thoughtful answers in her R.E.’;
Sophie (3G) for ‘beautifully presented work and interesting ideas in both Geography and R.E.’;
And… the results are in for Mr Behan’s Wacky Scientist Competition. Well done to all the children (and pets) who took part. All entrants received a credit and the winners were awarded a Green Commendation.
