When Mrs Oldroyd invited a very important visitor to the Happy Hangout, she received a warm reply.
A reminder to the children that The Happy Hangout – A Place for You, is open at lunchtime on Monday to Friday, and there is a staff rota on the door. Please feel free to visit to have a look around but also please respect others’ privacy, so if you can see someone is chatting, maybe come back another time. It is not a group hangout so if you want to chill with friends the library is probably your best bet. If there is not an adult in the room when you visit – they may be grabbing a drink or lunch or a bathroom break – there is a post box and some paper so you can let them know you were there. If you need a listening ear in times of anxiety or worry, please pop in.
