Time for another holiday challenge!
After a very successful bug hotel building challenge, lots of children asked about an eco project for the Easter break. With the weather getting warmer and the days getting longer it is a great opportunity to have a look around your house and garden to see what you might have to upcycle.
Upcycle means ‘reuse (discarded objects or material) in such a way as to create a product’. With that in mind we have decided upon an ‘upcycled bird bath’ challenge for the end of term holidays. We have planted more wildflowers and bee-loving flowers in the meadow and around the school and all of these birds, bugs and bees will need to find water.! So have a look at our links that will give you ideas about all the possibilities:

If you can’t find anything at all but would still like to be involved in an eco project, why don’t you think about growing some of your own herbs, fruit or vegetables? Now is the time to get a pot of soil or garden bed ready to plant seeds or small plants. Attached is an idea with strawberries you might like to complete.
Have a wonderful end of term break.
