Congratulations to all the children who took part in a wet and windy House Cross Country this week. The weather seemed to have changed straight from summer to winter and missed out autumn as the runners battled a chilly headwind over the fields from King Edward’s Witley back to Barrow Hills. As they came fast down the hill to the middle stile, quick thinking was required – over, under or through? There were some interesting techniques and the obstacle didn’t seem to interrupt the runners’ pace! They were greeted at Barrow Hills with some well deserved, delicious and warming hot chocolate and cookies.
