Year 4 children were simply asked to write a set of instructions detailing ‘How to make a Jam Sandwich’. They were given no guidance prior to this as our aim was to see what they already knew about instructional writing.
The instructions were then carried out meticulously by Miss Tyrrell. Much hilarity ensued and some interesting sandwiches were created!
