On Friday morning, sporting all kinds of crazy headgear, Years 3 and 4 headed to the field to complete their Lent Appeal challenges. The sun shone as the children were split into teams and competed to be the first to complete a 1km run, followed by some hotly contested team games and relays. Whilst enjoying the morning’s event, the teachers reminded the children why they were taking part and they were all keen to chat about the other challenges they were undertaking to raise money.
A group of girls from Year 5 decided to bake to raise money for the Lent Appeal. Delicious cakes, girls – well done and the sale raised a fantastic £105.
