Year 5 have been finishing off their ‘Mad Hatter’s’ project over the last three weeks in their art lessons, and this culminated in a very special tea party on Tuesday afternoon. The children enjoyed a marvellous spread of sandwiches and sweet treats, including toadstool brownies and toffee popcorn cupcakes. The quality of the hats was particularly high this year, with some intricate designs and thoughtfully added details, and some children incorporated pieces of felt that they had made themselves.
It was a very tough job, but many thanks to Mrs Mason, who joined us for tea and judged our winning hats. Thank you to the catering team for such delicious food!
Congratulations to our runners up, Daisy (5R), Daisy-Skye (5R) and Timo (5R), and to our overall winner, Tally (5G).
