During half term Max took part in a Tetrathlon competition and came 2nd individually, won top swimming score, top shooting score, and also got a clear round show jumping on his new pony Caramel. Max’s scores also helped his Chiddingfold team achieve 2nd place overall.
Max was delighted with how it went, especially the shooting where two of his bullseye shots went through the same hole!
Caramel’s colour is called Cremello and both her eyes are blue which is quite rare. The colouring occurs due to a combination of the cream colour genes from her chestnut coloured parents.
Max has also recently taken part in two local musical theatre productions, where he played spoken parts as a T-Bird and a scientist (Grease), and was part of a 160 person cast in a production of ‘Cats’. He immersed himself in these productions, whilst also making many new friends locally and combining his love of the poems by T.S Elliot.
Max loved singing as part of a chorus, and developing dance and theatrical performance. He embraced the camaraderie associated with both productions, the intensity of rehearsal, and thrived on developing his character with the coaches and seeing the production evolve.
