Kindy has been treated to a very special set of video messages from Captain Hostler, Mrs Hostler’s husband, to fit in with their ‘People Who Help Us’ topic. Captain Hostler flies a helicopter for the Police Air Support Unit and showed the children inside his cockpit with all the complicated levers and buttons, filmed a take off and the helicopter responding to a call out.
It was amazing to be inside the helicopter and see everything spread out down below. Captain Hostler flew over London where the River Thames, Docklands and the Thames Barrier could be seen clearly.
A huge Kindy thank you to Captain Hostler and his team. Certainly a very exciting ‘show and tell’!
