It was lovely to see the children running happily into school after the Easter break.
This week, our focus story in Reception is ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’. After discussing the conditions required for growth, we watched a time-lapse video of a bean putting down roots and sprouting. The children then carefully planted their own beans and we are looking forward to nurturing our plants, watching them grow and measuring their height in due course.
Hopes are high that the beanstalks will grow up through the clouds to a giant’s castle!
