When asked in a recent survey, most of the Pre-Prep children agreed that Mrs Wilson’s Forest school lesson this week was… ‘RUBBISH’!
It really was… all about how nature can help us to recycle!
After an interesting discussion about things rotting, things decaying and becoming really useful compost, we talked about the need to recycle man-made things and how to use our recycling bins both at home and in school.
We had fun playing a game deciding if something should go in the compost bin or the recycling bin. The children demonstrated a lot of knowledge about what to do with rubbish and unwanted items. All the children agreed to take their rubbish home and put it in the correct bin!
Have a wonderful Easter,
Mrs Wilson
