The Reception children have done so well this week and have delighted us by coming into school full of excitement, enthusiasm and boundless energy! They have enjoyed exploring their indoor and outdoor learning environment, whether using tweezers to pick up and count large plastic ‘jewels’, playing a magnetic fishing game, or exploring the orchard and finding out about the different types of birds and animals with which we share our beautiful grounds. We have started our phonics programme and the children have enjoyed their specialist lessons in PE, Forest School and IT.
It has been wonderful to watch them making friends and settling confidently into their new routines.
