This week, Year 6 have continued their learning on the theme of ‘the scientific method’ with a STEM based challenge, developing their design, engineer and investigative skills.
The children put their skills to the test designing their own experiment, to either look at building a very tall, or a very strong structure. In particular taking into account the fragile nature of some of the construction materials.
It was brilliant to see the amazing designs and the resilience shown by the children. Inspiration was even taken from the Louvre (Emilia, Mr Andrade particularly enjoyed this reference!).
