Year 8 have been analysing the distribution and abundance of organisms within the Barrow Hills’ ecosystem.
Earlier in the week, the children conducted an analysis on the local bird species, devising methods by which they might increase the level of biodiversity seen within local communities.
Later, they stopped looking to the skies and focused on all that lives underfoot. A wide variety of minibeasts were found within the school grounds, inclusive of the aptly named Sir Isaac NEWT-on!
