A huge congratulations to the U9 girls cricket team who won the Charterhouse School cricket tournament on Monday.
They played three teams in the group stages: Highfield, St Andrews and St Hilary’s. They won all three which took them through to the semi-final against Downsend School, where again they achieved a win.
The girls faced Yateley Manor in the final and finished their day undefeated!
A superb all round performance from all the girls, Delilah (4R), Beatrice (4R), Phoebe (4R), Annabel (3G), Laura (4R) and Lucia (4R), with some fantastic wickets and catches throughout the day. A special mention goes to Delilah and Phoebe who both won prizes for outstanding performance and effort.
