A warm welcome to Mr Tom Behan, our new science teacher.
With a background in sports, exercise science and personal training, Mr Behan swapped his gym kit for a lab coat and goggles a number of years ago and become a specialist in biochemistry at secondary school level. Needless to say however, that passion for sport undoubtedly makes a reappearance when it comes to all things games!
Whilst we are all BH@Home, Mr Behan is looking forward to working with the children to explore the fascinating world of science and evoking a passion for his subject. If any children would like to try some scientific activities during their time at home, he has put together some fun science experiments in the attached document.
Mr Behan commented, “We have some very fun times ahead of us, and hopefully, will all be back together soon and be introduced in person!”
