This week, Year 8 have been investigating 4.55 billion years of atmospheric change on Earth, from the first atmosphere to the phanerozoic eon. Of particular concern to the children was the impact our own actions may have on the atmosphere, and how these actions may subsequently affect changes in our climate.
To demonstrate the ferocity of combustion reactions, ethanol was ignited in oxygen. We hope the message speaks for itself…
