Year 1 had an exciting afternoon finding out if materials were waterproof or not. They made predictions and interestingly there were some surprises! Some children thought the cotton shirt might be waterproof and the rubber wellies would not be waterproof. There were some different opinions about the glass being waterproof or not. They all guessed that the umbrella would keep you dry.
The children were very willing volunteers and didn’t mind getting wet during the investigation.
