Year 1 have had a fantastic start to their distance learning. They have also made great inroads on their packs over the last three days.
The highlight of the week has been the daily class Google Meets. It’s a new arrangement for Year 1 and a real success. The class are registered and together have a look at the work for the day, including phonics and maths.
The big excitement in Year 1 is ‘Dress up Tuesday!’. Every Monday I am going to announce the theme for Tuesday’s meet. Mrs Ferris and I will also take part and photos will follow each week!
A huge well done to all the children for being on time for the Google Meets, behaving so well and showing such motivation to learn during such exceptional circumstances.
