Year 2 has been really busy learning about the Tudors this term. They’ve re-enacted the Battle of Bosworth, researched life in Tudor times and learnt all about Henry VIII and the fate of his six wives. Using textiles, crayon and oil pastels, the children have produced some splendid artwork on the Mary Rose and castles, not forgetting Henry VIII himself. Next week, the topic will end with a Tudor day, including biscuit making, creating Tudor houses and a Tudor feast.
