Year 2 are really keeping me on my toes, I have smiley faces showering down like confetti! There are Ancient Egyptians adorning the screen on my laptop, times tables in many guises – all correct and up to date, handwriting sheets becoming increasingly more legible by the day and book reviews lining my shelves. Science experiments are ongoing, beautiful paintings and artwork have been lovingly created and are delightful to look at. Never have teachers been more proud of the wonderful children that make up Barrow Hills, not least our tremendously, terrific Year 2!
Half term is upon us – strange as it may seem. I wish all of the Year 2 children and their families a most wonderful, happy, safe and healthy break. Find some peace and rest and hopefully plenty of relaxation in the sunshine.
