It doesn’t take much to encourage the children in Year 2 from getting stuck into their learning. They have embraced dipping their toes into the Ancient Egyptians, sung along with Mrs Hardy, ran, hopped, skipped, jumped and cycled miles with Mrs Burnett. They had a ball with Madame Early cooking, singing and telling jokes in French. And all the while practised their spellings, their times tables and continued to progress their reading.
The children have rewarded their teachers with anecdotes, feats of achievement and so much more.
I have loved how they devoured all the work set. You have been amazing Year 2 and will be awesome in Year 3! To all the Year 2 parents I applaud and thank you for your continued enthusiasm in support of the children. Happy holidays everyone.
