Year 3 had a wonderful surprise when they arrived in their classroom this week. Mrs Peek had hung some beautiful decorations; Christmas with an academic twist as print outs of the Mrs Wordsmith Christmas adjectives hung alongside the twinkling fairy lights. Rumour has it that extensive amounts of glitter will make an appearance next week!
The children have been getting into the Christmas spirit by writing their letters to Father Christmas. They have thought carefully about what to write, making sure to ask how Father Christmas and his family are, checking in on the reindeer, asking for gifts for others less fortunate, as well as a couple for themselves!
