The children in Year 3 have been learning about how to draw a self portrait. They watched a tutorial on how to carefully line up their features and spent time discussing how detail is key to the finished article.
They then all had a go at practising with a white board and pen before attempting the real thing. They all had a lot of fun and discovered that to be a portrait artist was not as easy as they first thought.
