Year 3 has been having lots of fun with science based experiments this week to build on their investigation skills. They have dropped eggs out of windows, attempted to turn a raw egg into a bouncing egg and built a tower out of marshmallows and sticks … It was very sticky business!
The children have worked carefully on each experiment to ensure they had a clear aim and method, ensured their testing was fair and recorded their predictions, results and conclusions clearly. They have been able to demonstrate good team work skills and been able to change their plans when it became clear their method was not going to work.
However, the actual experiments were so much more fun than the boring educational bit!
“We hope you enjoy looking through the pictures and watching the clips! We were lucky enough to include all the children isolating into our live lessons so that no one was left out and we all had a great time.”
