This term, Year 6 have worked on their French Revolution projects and I have been very impressed with their creations. They made cakes, posters, slide shows, board games, Lego builds, news reports, videos, a puppet of King Louis XVI, some guillotines and more. All the winners received Green Commendations for their wonderful creativity. Congratulations to Arthur (6G), Sophie (6G), Georgia (6R), Oliver (6R), Elsa (6G) and Imogen (6G).
One of the entries surprised me the most was Arthur’s. His project appeared to be a box of nutella biscuits with a hole on the side, but when you peeped inside and switched a little button, a light came on and you could see a fantastic scene of the Bastille and the guillotine. We were all amazed.
The children always delight me every year with their ideas and creativity.
Well done Year 6.
