Year 6, now back at School, were able to get outside and use our wonderful grounds this week.
Now away from their computers, they were raring to go. In the woods, they went looking for creatures great and small, searching high and low, under leaves, logs and near the stream. The children hunted and found an excellent selection of creatures; among some of their excellent finds were woodlice, slugs snails and beetles.
Back in the classroom, the children built on their work in a similar format to their bird watching analysis, creating frequency tables with added facts. Did you know…
