This week in geography, Year 8 produced some great work researching their future schools (Eton, Charterhouse, King Edward’s Witley and the RGS to name a few). They navigated their websites looking at the number of pupils, current headmaster as well as their future school’s history.
Further to this, they used an online mapping tool digimaps, to investigate how the school site has changed and how mapping techniques have improved from the 1850s. It was particularly nice to see some of the children look at measuring the distance of the commute to school and how they could get there via public transport.
