On Monday and Tuesday, Year 8 enjoyed two full days of lifesaving sessions. They worked in the swimming pool as well as in the classroom and learnt some important key skills including CPR and putting a casualty in the recovery position. Hopefully they’ll never need to use these newly learned skills but in case they ever need to, it was two days well spent.
Then, on Thursday, they went to Guildford Fire Station with Mr Hatcher, an incredible learning experience. The highlight was definitely testing the hoses!
