The Year 2 children had an exciting day out at Haslemere Museum today. They were fascinated to learn what the Ancient Egyptians believed about the afterlife. The children took part in disembowelling the museum’s mummy-doll and visited a real mummy called Par-Er-Abu. They then thoroughly enjoyed mummifying their own teddies! It was a fabulous way to reinforce what we have learnt about mummification in topic this week and a great end to the half term.
We hope you all have a wonderful half term!
