National Storytelling week has allowed us all to remember the power of a good story.
Jackie Morris (actress and former Barrow Hills parent) visited with Pre-Prep to show what ‘active’ storytelling involves.
The children have enjoyed bringing their stories to the library for the lunchtime story sessions. I have also been spending time with Year 1 and Year 2, reading aloud my favourite books. Year 7 also had an impromptu story time in the library to help them remember the power of a good story.
